Webpage Showcase — Privacy Policy

Webpage Showcase is a browser extension that automates webpage scrolling for screen recordings. We designed it to keep your data on your device.

Data we collect

None. Webpage Showcase does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. There is no analytics, telemetry, or cloud sync in this extension.

Data stored locally

The extension stores the following on your device only, using Chrome local storage:

• Per-website section configurations (CSS selectors, labels, scroll timing)
• Your global timing preferences (header offset, scroll speed, countdown)

You can export or delete this data anytime via the Options page.

Permissions

• storage — save your showcase configs locally
• activeTab & scripting — inject the scroll engine only on the tab you are viewing when you click Start or Stop in the extension popup

Third parties

Webpage Showcase does not share data with third parties. It does not contact external servers.
